June events – another wedding painted, a couple of shows, and Art Gone Wild at Zoo Atlanta!
It’s already a week into June and I have lots happening! The first was a wedding last weekend – Abby & Steve – where I painted the reception. It was a gorgeous event and an adorable couple! To see photos of the painting and it’s progress throughout the night, I created a post about this and another Spring wedding here.
In addition, I have two shows this month. The first is here in Atlanta, at the Limelight Gallery at Binder’s Art Supply Store in Buckhead. The show is up until June 25th with the reception on June 18th, 3:30-6:30pm.
I have three paintings in this show:
The second show is out of town, but the sale portion can be found online! It is a show of art that is all 6″ x 6″. Each piece is sold for $20, the artist is anonymous, raising money for Rochester Contemporary Art Center. I have 4 paintings in the show (and there are more than 5000 pieces of art for sale!):
As of today, over 1000 of the artworks have sold, including my 4 paintings!
Finally, my last event for this busy month, is that I am one of 35-40 artists invited to participate in Zoo Atlanta’s Art Gone Wild plein air event. We are painting/drawing/creating art at the zoo all week, live in front of the animals. Each artist will contribute 2-5 pieces of art for a silent auction/fundraising gala on June 18, 6:30-9!
My paintings from Monday and Tuesday:
Hope to see you at the Zoo or on June 18th!
